Transport
The nearest airport is Madrid-Barajas, and the closest train stations are Atocha and Chamartín (AVE high-speed train).
How to get to the venue:
From Madrid–Barajas Airport – by public transport:
Take Metro Line 8 (pink) from the airport to Nuevos Ministerios. Then transfer to Line 6 (Circular) towards Ciudad Universitaria and get off at Ciudad Universitaria station. Walk approximately 10 minutes to the Faculty of Physics.
From Moncloa Transport Hub (intercambiador de Moncloa) – by public transport:
Take Metro Line 6 (the Grey Circular line) towards Ciudad Universitaria and get off at Ciudad Universitaria station. From there, you can walk about 10 minutes following the campus signs to the Faculty of Physics.
From Nuevos Ministerios - by public transport:
Take Metro Line 6 (the Grey Circular line) towards Ciudad Universitaria. Walk 10 minutes to reach the Faculty of Physics building.
Taxis and ride‑sharing services:
You can also take a taxi, Uber, or Cabify from any of these locations. These options are usually reasonably priced and may be more convenient if you are carrying luggage.
Instead of walking the last 10 minutes, you can take the bus (lines G, U, 82) at the stop in front of the Ciudad Universitaria Metro Station. Get off at the Paraninfo-Matemáticas bus stop (see map).
