Description

In this talk, first, I will show the first results from the HARKONENS simulations, and will also present the plan we are developing within Arrakihs to understand the formation of tidal streams and intra-halo light around Milky Way-like galaxies.

In the second part of this talk, I will show how, after analysing pure N-body models, we are getting conclusive results on the role of the “invariant manifold” orbits on the formation of spiral arms from bars.
