Description
Magnetic fields play a fundamental role in astrophysical processes within the interstellar medium (ISM) and galactic systems, yet their geometry and evolution remain challenging to determine. In this talk, I will present a statistical approach using Synchrotron polarisation anisotropy for diagnosing magnetic field orientation and identifying dominant turbulence modes in the ISM. Furthermore, I will discuss probing galactic magnetic fields in high-redshift galaxies using polarised radio sources and investigate the radial evolution of these magnetic fields in such galaxies. These methodologies provide a framework for diagnosing both coherent and turbulent magnetic fields across different cosmic environments.
